CONSULTATION FEES
Medicare
In order to receive a Medicare rebate, it is the patient's responsibility to ensure that they have an appropriate referral. Most GP referrals are valid for 12 months from the date they are activated. Specialist referrals are valid for 3 months from the date they are written.
On the day of your appointment, we will process your claim through Medicare. However, please be aware that it can take up to 48 hours for the Medicare rebate to be paid into your account.
DVA Patients
Veteran Gold card-holders completely covered for all consultations and procedures. White card-holders are generally covered for consultation appointments, but not necessarily covered for surgical procedures. To keep you informed, our staff will check the level of cover with your Health Fund prior to your surgery.
Bulk Billing
As we are a Private Practice, Bulk Billing is generally not available. Please advise your Doctor if financial issues restrict you from accessing necessary treatment.
Cancellation Fees
A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be charged if you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment with sufficient notice (48 hours or 2 business days).
